WOMEN’S LACROSSE: Three-game win streak on line

After an up-and-down start to the 2016 season, the Yale women’s lacrosse team is currently riding a three-game win streak. This Saturday, the Bulldogs will lace up against nonconference foe Albany at Reese Stadium to try and continue their hot streak and remain unbeaten at home.

MEN’S LACROSSE: Yale to defend No. 1 ranking

This Saturday, the Yale men’s lacrosse team will take the field for the first time in program history as the No. 1 team in the nation. Following a gritty 11–10 victory over Princeton last weekend, the Bulldogs host Penn at Reese Stadium in a contest between two teams tied atop the Ivy League standings.

BASEBALL: Yale falters in midweek contests

With two games against three-time defending Ivy League champion Columbia looming this weekend, the Yale baseball team had two final opportunities to fine-tune its play before the beginning of Ancient Eight competition.

BASEBALL: Yale posts 4–9–1 record over break

Over spring break, the Yale baseball team played in three different states, against five different opponents and in 14 different games. It took the Bulldogs just about all that experience to warm up fully for the 2016 season.

CREW: Heavyweight, women’s crew off to promising start

The Yale women’s and heavyweight crew teams opened their spring seasons over break, testing themselves against strong opponents in their first races since November.

MEN’S LACROSSE: No. 3 Bulldogs stay perfect

The Yale men’s lacrosse team entered the 2016 season with heightened expectations, receiving a No. 10 preseason ranking from Inside Lacrosse that projected the Bulldogs finishing second in the Ivy League.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE: Yale pushes above 0.500

After a 2–4 start to the 2016 season and a loss to Ivy League foe Cornell, the Yale women’s lacrosse team needed to produce a strong performance over spring break in order to jump-start its conference campaign. In three games over the two weeks, the Bulldogs did just that.

SOFTBALL: Elis warm up against stiff competition

While much of the student body enjoyed its spring break at various locales across the globe, the Yale softball team faced several different opponents on the West Coast before returning home to New England.

SOFTBALL: Elis look for better results in 2016

In recent history, the Yale softball team has been consistent in its Ivy League performance, winning either just four or five conference games for the past four seasons. Heading into the 2016 season, the Elis have a blank slate in front of them in their quest to grow as a program.

MEN’S LACROSSE: In comeback, Yale remains perfect

While battling St. John’s on Tuesday night, the No. 4 Yale men’s lacrosse team was knocked down, but refused to be knocked out. Down at the half, the Bulldogs managed to avoid an upset and maintained their perfect record in the process.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE: Upset bid falls short

Despite making two comebacks and holding a two-goal lead well into the first half, the Yale women’s lacrosse team fell to No. 10 Stony Brook in New York on Tuesday night.
