To the Editor of the Yale Daily News:

I read for the first time last night an article about the funders of the Harvard anti-affirmative action lawsuit and the Federalist Society, which implied that I and the Federalist Society might be opposed to affirmative action.  First, the Federalist Society takes no position on affirmative action or on any other issue.  Second, I personally strongly support affirmative action both for admissions and faculty hiring.  In fact, I supported hiring a Black  woman in March of this year, who is also a critical race theorist, at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.  I think the United. States suffers from structural racism, and I favor reparations for slavery and for Jim Crow.
