Lunch date with Leo. By donating six dollars over the weekend to Home restaurant in Scotland, participants entered a raffle to dine with Academy Award winner Leonardo DiCaprio. The winner, whose lunch date is on Nov. 18, also gets a free luxury hotel room.
YSO sells out Woolsey — again. The Yale Symphony Orchestra’s annual Halloween Show takes place tonight at midnight in Woolsey Hall. The venue’s 2,650 tickets sold out in 10 minutes this year, but for those who missed out, the show will be streamed live.
Reflecting together. The Black Student Alliance at Yale is hosting a forum on Nov. 1 for community members to discuss and remember events surrounding Halloween last year. The discussion will take place at 7 p.m. in the Afro-American Cultural Center.
This day in Yale history 1992 Acting University President Howard Lamar revives the traditional Halloween party at the president’s home on Hillhouse Avenue. The event, launched by former University President Kingman Brewster, is now held in Commons.
