Scandal in the sixties. Yale Journalism Initiative Director Mark Oppenheimer ’96 GRD ’03 wrote about a 57-year-old Yale sex scandal for Tablet magazine. The case concerns Suzi, a 14-year-old New Haven girl who had sexual relations with several Yale students in 1959 and 1960. Oppenheimer commented on how campus has changed, saying “It was not a paramount concern that the men who had received oral sex from an adolescent be prosecuted or even shamed.”
