Carson and burn. Ben Carson ’73, who led the race for the Republican presidential nomination for a brief stretch, announced that he will not attend Thursday’s GOP debate. Although Carson has not formally dropped out of the race, he released a statement yesterday saying, “I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results.”
