  • Camaraderie and controversy descended upon Yale at the first-ever gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender alumni-reunion was this weekend.  At the affair, gay activist Larry Kramer ’57, the first ever recipient of the GALA Lifetime Achievement Award, criticized the University for its relegation of the study of gay history to LGBT studies.
  • Forty years after coeducation came to Yale College, Paul Needham reports that the majority of administrators at Yale today are women.
  • Will swine flu come to Yale? Probably not, but administrators a Yale University Health Services are prepared with anti-viral medication and plentiful in-patient beds should things take a turn for the worse.
