The Union Station shuttle will extend its free weekday services to the Green, City Hall spokeswoman Jessica Mayorga announced in a Tuesday press release. The shuttles, which currently transport rail passengers to off-site parking locations such as the Temple Street garage, will now run every 20 minutes from 6:10 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. on a route that includes a stop downtown, which Mayorga said will provide Yale students a more efficient way to reach Union Station from the campus area. Mayor John DeStefano Jr. and transportation officials will announce the changes at a 10 a.m. press conference today in front of Union Station.
