This spring’s Covid-19 vaccine rollout has infused a sense of hope throughout campus that things are returning back to normal. But it’s important that we don’t forget about the unexpected struggles we’ve all had to face and how access to the vaccine hasn’t been easy for everyone. This episode highlights two journeys to get the vaccine from members of the Yale community—one from Desse Chesson, a mobile-rounds custodian, and another from Juan Recoaro, an international student from Argentina.
This episode was produced by Matthew Fan and Andrea Lee. Our sound engineer was Michael Lee. Special thanks to Desse and Juan for sharing their stories. Music for this episode is from Blue Dot Sessions.
