A fire broke out on a Yale transit bus at around 3 p.m. Monday afternoon on Cedar Street between York and Congress, according to the New Haven Independent.
The bus driver pulled over as the bus experienced “mechanical difficulties.” He evacuated all passengers.
No one was hurt as the fire broke out after the bus emptied. Police on the scene were investigating the cause of the fire.
