The No. 15 men’s lacrosse team qualified for the NCAA Tournament on Sunday when it won the 2012 Ivy League Tournament with a 15–7 victory over Princeton. It was the ninth consecutive win for the Bulldogs, who beat perennial Ivy League powerhouse No. 13 Cornell on Friday, 14–10. Attackman Deron Dempster ’13 notched a hat trick, Matt Gibson ’12 earned tournament MVP honors after contributing two goals and six points, and goaltender Jack Meyer ’14 had nine saves against Princeton. The Elis’ NCAA berth will be their first since 1992.
