  • Yale Information Technology Services and the Provost’s Office announced on Oct. 11 the creation of a “Research Storage Solution” — a mass data repository accessible through the internet — to meet an increasingly urgent need for additional research storage space among the University’s faculty. Four researchers interviewed said they were enthusiastic about the option, but had concerns about the system’s cost and the speed for accessing data.
  • Over the weekend, the Latino Cultural Center, “La Casa,” was transformed into an art exhibit.

    The show, which highlights the variegated history of the building from the time of its acquisition by Yale to its 1977 conversion into a cultural center for Latinos, was conceptualized and executed by four students at the School of Art.
