A Yale School of Medicine professor is the first juror selected for the trial of Joshua Komisarjevsky.
Shortly before the end of the second day of jury selection in the trial, the juror was selected after 44 potential jurors were dismissed, the New Haven Register reported Friday.
Komisarjevsky is accused of invading William Petit’s Cheshire home and brutally killing his wife and two daughters together with Steven Hayes, who was sentenced to death in December.
Jury selection for Komisarjevsky’s trial began Wednesday and is expected to take several months.
