HARTFORD—Eleven minutes after the last polls closed in Bridgeport, Connecticut’s new attorney general, George Jepsen, delivered his acceptance address to the crowd needed at the Hartford Society Room. In his address, Jepsen told the crowd he “can’t wait to get started” despite what he said is a lot of work ahead of him. He said his first goal is to “get the economy back on track by leveling the playing field.”
Half-an-hour after Jespen spoke and left the building, Andrew McDonald, Stamford state senator from the 27th senate district, took the stage to offer words of encouragement to the crowd.
“We will be seeing more Democrats up here tonight,” McDonald said.
