New Haven’s mayoral candidates are headed out to the polls. City Hall spokeswoman Jessica Mayorga said Mayor John DeStefano Jr. will visit the Ward 10 polling place this afternoon.
Challenger Ralph Ferrucci, running as an Independent, is not sure what stops he will be making, but said he will also likely spend a lot of time at the Ward 10 polling station over the course of the day. Henri Sumner, also an Independent candidate, said he will be “everywhere today” but added that he will likely spend a significant part of his day downtown at the New Haven Free Public Library. The fourth candidate on the ballot, Angela Watley, could not be reached for comment Tuesday morning.
