New Haven Rep. Rosa DeLauro joined President Barack Obama in the White House on Sunday night to watch the Super Bowl. Last week, Obama signed the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, a bill that makes long-term pay discrimination suits less difficult to file, which DeLauro championed. Of the Super Bowl, Obama said in an interview with NBC News on Sunday that though the Arizona Cardinals had a great underdog story, he was supporting the Pittsburgh Steelers. Joining the Obamas for the Superbowl were 15 legislators, including seven representatives from both teams’ states — five from Pennsylvania and two from Arizona.
