To the Editor:

Thank you very much to all members of the Yale community, especially to the members of the Yale Band, who supported the men’s ice hockey team this past weekend. As a former player and current assistant coach, I can state definitively that the enthusiasm of our fans is much appreciated; the roar of our crowd while being saluted by our players after a win is one of my favorite sounds of all-time. From Captain Freedom and the student section to my former Intro Psych professor, Dean Salovey, I appreciate every attendant’s clap, stomp and holler.

You make the atmosphere at Ingalls Rink electric. Your spirit will be needed again soon as the season gets down to the wire. I look forward to more noise.
