A profile Thursday of men’s tennis player Steve Berke ’03 incorrectly stated that Berke was endorsed by several athletics-equipment companies during a year on the pro tour. Berke was endorsed by the companies while playing in the Juniors. He was not endorsed on the pro tour.
A headline on a story Friday about the Yale College Council’s online election system misleadlingly implied that a computer glitch disrupted the council’s elections. The glitch temporarily prevented some students from accessing the voting system, but no votes were lost.
The story also incorrectly stated that every student who voted received an automatic e-mail from YaleStation.org, the election systems provider. Only some voters who were not registered with YaleStation.org received the e-mail. The automatic e-mail was disabled about 10 hours after the week-long election began.
