The Yale Daily News is Yale’s preeminent campus publication, with a community of over 2.65 million active online users. Our print and digital platforms serve a robust readership of Yale students, faculty and affiliates, New Haven residents and viewers across the country and world.

Advertising is available in print, on our website and in our daily newsletter. Our clients include local and national businesses, University departments and programs and Yale student organizations, among others. The Yale Daily News Publishing Co. also offers a complimentary ad design service to format your message and design for our readers.

Our print circulation, while temporarily reduced due to the COVID-19 pandemic, normally includes 3,000 daily copies at more than 100 distribution sites across the campus and the city. Our website attracted 5.6 million page views and 2.7 million unique users in 2020, with over 20,000 people visiting each day. Our daily newsletter reaches more than 27,000 subscribers, over half of whom are Yale students, with an average click rate of 35 percent.

  1. Print ads are available in grayscale and in color and are sold in dimensions of complete columns and half-inches.
  2. Online ads are available in four sizes: 728×90 leaderboard (top of the page), 160×600 skyscraper (right side of the page), 217×90 leader box (upper right of the page) and 728 x 90 middle banner (middle of the page)
  3. Newsletter ads are available in two sizes: 728×200 and 728×400.
