Episcopal chaplain responds to backlash

After having his remarks in the New York Times criticized for appearing to be a justification of anti-Semitism, the University’s Episcopal chaplain Bruce Shipman told the News that his statements were misconstrued.

Second New Haven rally condemns Ferguson shooting

Sitting in a circle on the New Haven Green yesterday, a crowd of over 100 Yale students, city residents and out-of-towners raised their arms and fists in solidarity with Michael Brown, the 18 year-old African American male shot to death by a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo. on Aug. 9.

Sexual misconduct report shows rise in reported assaults

Sixty-four complaints of sexual misconduct were brought to the University’s attention between January 1 and June 30, according to the sixth publication of the biannual Report of Complaints of Sexual Misconduct.
