On Saturday, the men’s hockey team won its first NCAA Division I national championship in program history. On his birthday, goaltender Jeff Malcolm ’13 led the Bulldogs to a 4–0 shutout of Quinnipiac.
After defeating Minnesota and North Dakota in the first two rounds of the NCAA men’s hockey tournament, Yale advanced to the Frozen Four to take on UMass-Lowell. The Bulldogs won the game with an overtime goal by captain Andrew Miller ’13.
