Six professors promoted

Six professors were selected for promotion at Wednesday’s Board of Permanent Officers meeting, Yale College Dean Mary Miller told the News. See the list below:

Gregory Huber, who is a tenured associate political science professor, will become a tenured full professor.

Joshua Knobe, philosophy and psychology professor – assistant professor to tenured associate professor.

Stefanie Markovits GRD ’01, English professor – untenured associate professor to full professor with tenure.

Jing Tsu, east Asian languages and literature professor – untenured associate professor to full professor with tenure.

Aaron Gerow, director of undergraduate studies for the Film Studies department – untenured associate professor to full professor with tenure.

Walter Jetz, ecology and evolutionary biology professor – associate professor to associate professor with tenure.
