Harvard tuition package increase smaller than Yale’s

Harvard University has announced that its tuition package will rise to $52,650 — an increase of 3.8 percent — for the 2011-’12 school year, the Harvard Crimson reported this morning.

Harvard’s increase is smaller than Yale’s 5.8 percent increase, announced earlier this month, and it will bring Harvard’s total fees just under Yale’s total of $52,700. Like other members of the Ivy League, Harvard’s financial aid budget will grow along with the tuition hike.

Within the Ivy League, only Columbia and Dartmouth have yet to release their tuition and fees for the coming year.
