Ever made the trek up Science Hill? Hidden within the Gothic façade of Sterling Chemistry Laboratory and the brickwork of Osborn Memorial Laboratory exist hundreds of thousands of chemical compounds, beakers and lab coats. Complicated apparatuses decorate the inside of these laboratories, and reactions hiss, fizz, and even go boom within the confines of these walls. Staff photographer Zeenat Mansoor captures this part of the Yale experience. Next week, the News will delve into another kind of creativity when “Through The Lens” captures dance studios, painting studios and much more.
