“Follow your bliss.” That’s the best advice Yale College Dean and art historian Mary Miller said she received as a college student at a Trumbull College master’s tea yesterday. Miller talked about her struggle to leave behind a prospective career in law as a young undergrad at Princeton. Though Miller said she tried to force the two careers together at first — “I thought, ‘Maybe I can try art law!” she quipped — she committed fully to her current career thanks to help from an adviser.
