Alas, nothing is completely spill-proof

Despite assurances by Yale Dining that the free stainless steel mugs issued this week had two caps to prevent leaking, some stained and sorry students have found that the mugs can spill after all.

Clinical trials conducted by the News determined that liquid may leak through the ventilation hole in the inner cap when the mugs are completely filled. Cross Campus recommends not filling the mugs more than three-quarters of the way.

Mine is already rusted along the weld, and there is liquid stuck in between the layers of metal after one use. What a waste of money. The quality is so poor. They seemed like they were not built to last, but I was hoping to get more than one use out of it. Maybe there is a lesson to be learned in going the cheap route with Chinese lowest-bidder manufacturing?!
