Red and blue mailboxes have sprouted outside of dining halls across campus as part of a new community art project, “Yale PostSecret: Confessions on Race, Identity, and Culture,” co-sponsored by the Asian American Students Alliance, Yale Hillel and the Black Student Alliance at Yale.

The gist of the project: Send in anonymous, illustrated confessions in the style of a PostSecret submission, via the mailboxes or by uploading onto the Yale PostSecret Web site. The project coordinators will compile the submissions and display them in an on-campus art exhibit.

The deadline for submissions is March 31. Mailboxes are located outside of the dining halls in Berkeley, Branford, Ezra Stiles, Pierson, Silliman and Trumbull colleges.

There are no guidelines for submissions other than the requirement that they be anonymous, but perhaps they’re looking for submissions like this?
