Yale School of Management is now the 10th best business school in the country, up from No. 13 in 2008, according to the U.S. News & World Report’s annual rankings. Harvard Business School stayed at No. 1, while Stanford Graduate School of Business slipped out of a tie with Harvard and fell to No. 2. This marks the third straight year that the SOM has risen in the U.S. News & World Report’s annual evaluation of business schools: The SOM came in at No. 15 in 2006 and at No. 14 in 2007. First published in 1983, the report uses peer assessments, recruiter assessments, placement success and several other factors to rank business schools.
