The story “Law prevented consideration of GESO” contained factual errors in its headlines. That the inclusion of the Graduate Employees and Students Organization would have complicated 2010 contract negotiations was not an official statement of the Yale unions Locals 34 and 35. In addition, though graduate student teaching at private universities is not protected by the National Labor Relations Act, an individual’s association with any union is a Constitutional right.
