The story “News analysis: CYCE report acted as Univ. ‘road map’” inaccurately reported the contents of a quantitative reasoning survey of current seniors. The survey, which is now in progress, does not ask for evaluations of courses, nor does it contain any reasoning questions to determine competency. Rather, the survey asks seniors about their attitudes regarding quantitative material, their self-perceived quantitative reasoning skills and their experiences with quantitative education.
