Briefly: Lieberman hails economic recovery plan

Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman ’64 LAW ’67 praised the Congressional economic stimulus and recovery plan today, saying the state would directly benefit from the federal funds. The bill, a $789 billion stimulus package, would feed federal funds into initiatives on health care, education, transportation and infrastructure management.

    Good ol' Joe. Voted for a bloated, ill thought out bill which will saddle generations after him with high taxes to pay down the trillions of dollars of indebtedness that let him boast about all the pork he's bringing home today.
