This past Saturday, Enclave, a skateboarding gear and apparel shop on Broadway, held its soft opening. Store Assistant Manager Holly Mills said business since then has been steady.

The bulk of clientele has included local skaters, window-shoppers and girls looking to purchase their Ugg boots before the summer heat dies down.

Other customers, however, may step inside just to watch skateboarding videos on the store’s Hi-def TV or to play a game of Tony Hawk on the Nintendo wii.

“We want to make people feel comfortable here,” Mills said. “There’s something for everyone.”
