Founded January 28, 1878, the Yale Daily News is the nation’s oldest college daily newspaper and has been consistently ranked among the top college daily newspapers in the country. The News is produced by a very dedicated, all-volunteer undergraduate staff. Most of our reporters are first years and sophomores, while the managing board is mainly comprised of juniors. The News is the primary division of the Yale Daily News Publishing Co., which is headed by the News’ editor in chief and president.
