The Yale Daily News daily paper is distributed free of charge to the Yale community. With a circulation of 5,000 distributed in over 100 locations, the daily paper provides vital university and regional news, feature articles, and general information to the Yale community, and boasts the highest readership of any on-campus publication.
Print advertisements are available both in greyscale and in color. Print advertisements are sold in dimensions of complete columns and half-inches; standard advertisement sizes and printing dates for the 2013-2014 academic year are available below.
In addition, the Yale Daily News prints several special issues every year on occasions of increased readership, including Parents’ Weekend, The Game, Bulldog Days, and Commencement. These special issues are high-impact advertising opportunities with particularly high readership, shelf-life, and engagement.

The Yale Daily News Magazine is a monthly publication that focuses on long-form journalism, essays, fiction, and poetry. The Magazine is printed six times a year and has a circulation of 1,500.
Advertising in the Magazine is available on the inside front cover, on inner pages, or on the back cover. Advertising in the Magazine benefits from an exceptionally longer shelf-life, as each issue circulates throughout campus for several weeks.
The Yale Daily News website reproduces all print articles, the magazine, blogs, and multimedia content. Advertising is available for 728×90 leaderboard, 217×90 “mini”, and 160×600 skyscraper sizes. Advertising is generally sold by impressions (views); impressions can be delivered immediately or spread out over a specified length of time.
