GOLF: Bulldogs take fifth at Spring Invitational

In their last tournament before Ivy play, the Yale men’s golf team snatched a fifth-place finish on their home turf during the Yale Spring Invitational.

TRACK & FIELD: Elis compete up and down the East Coast

With athletes competing in three different locations this weekend, the Bulldog track and field teams were spread thin. Still, the Elis were still able to perform at a high level.

As the 2015 Ivy League tennis season winds down, the Yale women’s team defeated Harvard 4–3 on Friday before losing to Dartmouth on Sunday by the same score.

SAILING: Sailing notches more wins

Both the Yale women’s and coed sailing teams found themselves in first place at their respective regattas this past weekend as the two teams prepare to take on upcoming championship events.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE: Yale drops penultimate match 13–7 to Penn

After narrowly beating Dartmouth in its final home game of the season, the Yale women’s lacrosse team could not pull off a consecutive Ivy League win, falling 13–7 to conference powerhouse Penn on Saturday afternoon.

MEN’S LACROSSE: Bulldogs come back, fall to Albany 12–11

The men’s lacrosse team entered their contest at Albany this weekend wielding a top-10 national ranking and riding a winning streak in which the Bulldogs played some of their best lacrosse of the season.

SOFTBALL: Yale wins final game, salvages series

In a pair of doubleheaders against league rival Harvard this weekend, the Yale softball team struggled once again in conference play, dropping three of four games in the series.

BASEBALL: After elimination, Bulldogs bite back

After being eliminated from playoff contention Saturday afternoon, the Yale baseball team gutted out two impressive victories on Sunday at Harvard to extend what is now a six-year streak of winning with at least two of its four annual games against its Cambridge rivals.

CREW: Heavyweight, lightweight take first, women’s falls

On Saturday, the women and lightweight crew teams found themselves in a familiar place: the Gilder boathouse. Both teams raced on the Housatonic, while the heavyweights took on Columbia and Penn on Columbia’s Overpeck Lake, New Jersey course-minute delay, the fog on the Housatonic River lifted and spectators were able to enjoy a clear view.

WOMEN’S LACROSSE: Bulldogs set sights on Quakers

The Yale women’s lacrosse team will travel to Philadelphia on Saturday to play against the Quakers in one of their last remaining games of this season.

SOFTBALL: Softball plays four against Harvard

After splitting a doubleheader against Sacred Heart on Wednesday, the Yale softball team will face Harvard this weekend in two back-to-back doubleheaders in Cambridge.
