After not playing an official competition in 23 months, the Yale men’s golf team secured a win in its first tournament back, finishing with a 15-stroke lead as the only team under par.

Proposal in the works for a Yale Golf Course restoration

Yale Golf Course General Manager Peter Palacios said that plans for a restoration of the 1920s Golden Age course are being drawn up. If approved and funded, the restoration would close the course for approximately 22 to 24 months.

WOMEN’S GOLF: Gianchandani and Lee knocked out in match play at four-ball championship, win medalist honors for stroke play

After competing in the stroke play portion of the U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship on Saturday and Sunday, Yale golfers Ami Gianchandani ’23, Kaitlyn Lee ’24 and Sophie Simon ’25 were knocked out in the first round of match play, which commenced on Monday and ended Wednesday.

WOMEN’S GOLF: Gianchandani and Lee tied for first place after two rounds at U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship

Ami Gianchandani ’23, Kaitlyn Lee ’24 and soon-to-be Bulldog Sophie Simon ’25 made the cut after two rounds at Maridoe Golf Club in Carrollton, Texas. They continue into the round of 32 on Monday.
