GOLF: Peng ’18 wins Ivy individual title, teams finish third

Though the two tournaments took place almost 100 miles apart, the Ivy League men’s and women’s golf championships yielded surprisingly similar results as Yale’s two teams both finished third in fields of eight to finish their spring seasons.

Yale considers launching harassment site

When results from the Association of American Universities campus survey on sexual assault and sexual misconduct were released last fall, Yale was confronted with data that showed an alarming rate of sexual misconduct on campus. Two particularly disturbing statistics indicated that only 7.1 percent of female undergraduates and 3.5 percent of male undergraduates who experienced sexual harassment reported the incident to a University program.

Cancre ’17 impresses at Boston Marathon

Already visible on campus due to his status as a member of the Spizzwinks(?) and as a Yale tour guide, Félix Cancre ’17 can now add another impressive trait to his list: three-time marathon finisher. One of several Yalies to run the 2016 Boston Marathon on April 18, Cancre ran the 26.2-mile race in two hours and 44 minutes, finishing 231st overall and 189th in the male 18 to 39-year-old division.
