VOLLEYBALL: Loss to UConn spoils two-win weekend

After the Yale volleyball team opened its season with three victories at the Yale Invitational two weekends ago, the Bulldogs traveled to face the University of Connecticut Huskies for the Dog Pound Challenge. Yale returned from Storrs, Connecticut, with a mixed result in the tournament that featured four schools with dogs as mascots.

FIELD HOCKEY: Depth to guide Yale in 2016

After capturing an Ivy League title in 2011, the Yale field hockey team has failed to achieve a winning season in each of its last four attempts. The Bulldogs tied with Brown for last in the Ivy League in 2014 and 2015, winning just one game in conference and finishing 3–14 the last two years.
