On Saturday, New Haven hosted one of the nation’s first COVID-19 vaccination clinics for children aged 5-11, following the CDC’s recommendation of the vaccine for the age group. On Tuesday, Nov. 2, CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky and an independent scientific advisory board recommended the administration of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11.
