In the article “Overworked, overwhelmed, underpaid and underappreciated: Yale’s registrars are tired,” my supervisor was singled out in an unfair and disingenuous manner. Liza Joyner, one of many operations managers who supervise registrars, was the only such supervisor named in the article. The article implies that she was unresponsive despite my having specifically told the reporter that she is a very supportive and helpful supervisor and that I enjoy a good deal of appreciation and support from my entire department. 

I am disappointed with the negative and untrue picture painted of my supervisor and friend.
