Transparency and accessibility

I read with interest “To the Yale Corporation” (Dec. 2, 2016) by Nathan Lobel in today’s issue of the News.  When I first became Senior Fellow of the Yale Corporation last July, I set out to understand the question of transparency and accessibility of the Corporation.  I have spent much time over the last several months exploring this issue both by talking with a large number of students, faculty and administrators, as well as researching what is done by other universities.  I look forward to sharing the result of my work once there is clarity on steps to be taken.
