Life after Yale. On Saturday, the Association of Yale Alumni will be hosting a career fair for students interested in STEM careers. The day’s events include speaker panels, mock interviews and networking sessions. Students must preregister to attend.

Do they have Gheav? Since last Wednesday, six out of Harvard’s 12 dining halls have closed as hundreds of the school’s dining workers have gone on strike. Representatives from Harvard and the dining workers’ union have met 22 times thus far.

THIS DAY IN YALE HISTORY. 1990 Yale commits $10 million to fund a major downtown redevelopment project. The pledge is the most Yale has committed to developing the Elm City since 1987, when the University invested $30 million to be spread over a decade.
