Rare similarities. Ahead of the three presidential debates, NBC held a Commander-in-Chief Forum that pitted Democrat Hillary Clinton LAW ’73 and Republican Donald Trump against one another. Moderator Matt Lauer asked a series of questions about national security and foreign policy. The candidates seemed to have some similar stances: both supported the Iraq war and the intervention in Libya. The first debate will be held on September 26.
