Announcing the Winners of the 2016 Wallace Prize.

The Yale Daily News is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s Wallace Prize, the most prestigious independently-awarded undergraduate writing prize for fiction and nonfiction at Yale. In addition to substantial monetary awards, winners will have their pieces published in a special issue of the Yale Daily News Magazine later this spring. All submissions were judged anonymously by professionals in the field.

Winners in Nonfiction:

3rd place: “The Many Masks of Sabir Abdussabur,” by Yi-Ling Liu ’17
