In the spotlight. Former Whiffenpoof Josh Singer ’94 won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for “Spotlight” last night. Singer shared the award with Tom McCarthy, the director of the film. After Yale, Singer attended Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. He has written for “The West Wing” and “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.”
