Liquor treating. The General Assembly — Connecticut’s state Legislature ­— is holding a public hearing to discuss whether or not to allow liquor stores to sell products below the minimum price. Gov. Dannel Malloy has publicly supported the push to lower prices, saying “Why would government force residents to pay artificially high prices? It’s illogical and backwards.”
