On the ballot. Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill announced the candidates that will appear on the ballot on April 26. Both Democratic contenders, Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders, and six Republicans — Donald Trump, Ben Carson ’73, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and Ohio Gov. John Kasich — will be on the ballot.
