In Paris, anger, fear and hope over climate change in the wake of terrorist attacks
In these pictures, taken last December on a trip to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP21) in Paris, activists fight not only against climate change but also against the repression of their voices. After the Nov. 13 terrorist attacks on Paris and during the conference, activists took to the streets calling on authorities to stop suffering. The anguish people felt over the attacks evolved, becoming indignation at authority figures — and hope for a more peaceful future.
