Yale Police received an anonymous report of sexual assault early this morning through the Bulldog Mobile LiveSafe app.
Director of Safety and Yale Chief of Police Ronnell Higgins wrote to the Yale community at 12:31 PM reporting that an undergraduate anonymously reported being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance, who is also a Yale undergraduate. Higgins said the assault happened in the early hours of Sunday morning in a residential college.
Higgins encouraged anyone with information regarding the incident to reach out to the Yale Police. He reminded students that Yale Police will investigate any reports of sexual assault, and also provide referrals to resources to victims of sexual assault.
