In addition to leading Yale, University President Peter Salovey also performs weddings.

Salovey, as a justice of the peace in Connecticut, performed the marriage ceremony for Elizabeth Paige Clark-Polner ’09 and David Wilkins Miller on Saturday. The service was held in Dwight Chapel.

Clark-Polner, who is currently a postdoctoral scholar in psychology at the University of Chicago, is the daughter of Trumbull Master Margaret Clark and Trumbull Associate Master Frederick Polner. Clark’s academic field is psychology, the same as Salovey’s.

The wedding was reported in the New York Times.
