• As he awaits his inauguration this Tuesday, Divinity School Dean Gregory Sterling has already started to implement his vision for the school. Sterling, who served as the dean of the University of Notre Dame’s Graduate School before he assumed leadership of the Divinity School in August, said his vision for the school focuses on inclusivity. He intends to bolster financial aid and is already working to meet all students and faculty in the Divinity School.
  • Danny Meyer, the mastermind behind Chapel Street’s popular new burger joint Shake Shack, visited Silliman College Friday afternoon for a Master’s Tea.
    During the Tea, Meyer discussed his path to culinary success and his ability to mesh his early interest in public service with his passion for high-quality food.
  • A 63-year-old former Yale School of Medicine administrator is suing the University on the grounds that Yale fired him because of his age. In a suit filed at the United States District Court, Martin Donovan claims that the University decided that he had reached retirement age and justified his termination by fabricating mistakes he made on the job. The University denies Donovan’s claim.
